I hate cruel humor. Like humor that is sexist, racist, anti-working class—the kind of humor which purposefully, self-consciously seeks to find laughs in the misery and suffering of others, on one hand, and in the wrongly presumed natural inferiority, backwardness, or inability of a group or groups of people, on the other hand. So many examples, but one comedian I like told a horrible right-wing, cruel joke about women and Asian people recently. He clipped it on IG, like to promote his art and encourage people to see his act. Uggghhhhh! Time to focus on this j and let the high set in. Woo-saaaaaa! Haha.
