Happy Juneteenth! And huzzah a million times over, in jubilee, to the end of racial enslavement. What a step forward for human progress did making emancipation for four million enslaved people. Words are ill fit to capture the full immensity of the moment, I think. Now to end the wage slavery that still exists in our day, to make a new jubilee from capitalism’s dominating labor system. This should unite workers across identity lines. I hope one day it does as masses of different workers rise up together in revolution to make another emancipation, more human progress toward a new society. Huzzah! Happy Juneteenth! Toward more new Juneteenth’s to come!
