People who shit on you for debating conspiracy theories should be ashamed tbh. The goal is to develop a theory on said topic by questioning it and gradually eliminating what is least likely and adding the most. Thus u end up with a theory which is most likely to be true from everything you know up to that point. The concept is to try and disprove it so u get closer to the truth, most certainly not blindly believe it, neither does it mean you are blinded by the status quo.
